The second album from Atsuhito Omori's Ex Confusion project. His first since taking part in Keith Kenniff's (Helios, Goldmund) 'For Nihon' compilation, Embrace consist of ten tracks of emotionally themed soloist ambient composed for guitar and piano. At it's core, the album conjures strong themes of nostalgia. Wonderfully warm, hazy, sun-lit memories that actually seem tangible.

Líam is an instrumental post-rock band from Germany, found as an One-Man-Project in early 2007 by M. Siegenhort. He recorded the two first EPs „My journey to the sky“ and „Two years and a fragment“ within less than one year. He had the strong desire to present the material live and therefore searched for session-musicians. He found J. Wulfheide, L. Jahns and C. Holler. But instead of rehearsing the existing material the four guys composed new songs. In 2008 their first full length CD "Silhouettes Lay Waste To The Living" was recorded. In late 2008 P. Dombrink joined the band to play keys on the new album which was recorded in spring 2009.

What the Blood Revealed is an instrumental rock band from Irvine on the West Coast of Scotland. We came together in 2004 and have created a sound influenced by such giants of the leftfield as Isis, Neurosis and Mogwai. We find our inspiration in science, and the truths it reveals.
We have released two well received EPs which have found their way to friends in 5 continents and have recently finished recording an album with Ross McGowan (United Fruit, Danananackroyd) which was mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago (Om, Grails, Young Widows). The story of lastdayshining begins in a small town called Jefferson in the heart of the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. The original members of the band included Jesse Bulka, Chris Hardiman, and brothers Mike and Bob Kendall. They played shows together mostly during the summer months while Bob was home from college and while the other three were waiting to go back to a senior year of high school. Tragedy struck and original bassist Bob was probably going to miss a summer of shows due to a trip to Europe to play jazz. So that's when current drummer, Gabe Miller, was added to the mix to keep LDS a four piece. They cut a small 2 song EP together in a studio in Marcellus NY which transitioned the gap between the old and new line-ups. However, Bob never eneded up going to Europe and came back to play guitar for lastdayshining instead. They recorded a full length album called "Our Heated Backs Encircle Us" in the summer of 2007. Nowadays, the boys are continuing to write new music, play more shows, and follow their passion for music more and more closely.

Fishing the Sky is a musical endeavour that seethes melancholy and yet, is vigorously triumphant. An evocatively atmospheric outing, Thank You, released in Spring '12, encompasses the stark dichotomy of emotion present in each respective composition. Musician Rob Hughes has constructed a space-age vehicle for post-modern rhythms that is unsurpassed.
Anathema will return in April with Weather Systems, their brand new studio album. Weather Systems is the follow-up to 2010’s We're Here Because We're Here. That album featured prominently in numerous end-of-year polls and the producer, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), has described it as 'definitely among the best albums I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.'
The bar for Weather Systems has been set pretty high then but Daniel is certain that the album will exceed these lofty expectations, ‘it feels like we are at a creative peak right now, and this album reflects that. Everything from the production to the writing to the performances are a step up from our last album.’
He continues, ‘This is not background music for parties. The music is written to deeply move the listener, to uplift or take the listener to the coldest depths of the soul.’
This album will please fans who call for more of Lee Douglas’s vocals, as her role within Anathema’s brand of alternative, melodic rock has matured to become an integral energy. In this way and more, Weather Systems is the sound of a band finding their voice and growing in stature, moving further along their artistic path with a truly stunning musical vision.
