Oh Hiroshima is a post-rock band from Kristinehamn, Sweden formed in 2006 by Leif Eliasson and Jakob Nilsson. Jakob and Leif met in high school and formed a close friendship. They were playing in different bands at the time, but Leif had been working on a post-rock solo project as a side project. Since Jakob also was a fan of post-rock they decided to give it a try together, and Oh Hiroshima was formed.

After a few months Jakob’s younger brother, Oskar, joined the duo to play bass, and later drums. The three has since been a solid line-up and after looking to reinforce the band with another permanent member they eventually found Simon Axelsson to complete the line-up.

After 2 self-released EPs and with an upcoming full-length, Oh Hiroshima has slowly gained a small fanbase all over the world.
