Mooncake is a Russian post-rock band founded in Moscow early 2006. Since then Mooncake has been permanently performing at top Moscow clubs and festivals, toured Russia and Ukraine, shared stage with such bands as God is an Astronaut, Explosions in the sky, Caspian, Russian circles and finally became the leader of Russian instrumental and post-rock music scene.
The newest Acoustic DVD is a live Mooncake’s show performed on Rain TV. The video contains five tracks in pretty new acoustic arrangements. The release is available through Fluttery Records not only in DVD format, but in CD Audio and digital as well.

Versa formed in January of 2006, in a bid to lose a Battle of the bands at a campus pub. Encouraged by an unprecedented success in this endeavour, the band continued to work on original material. Traversing the expanses between soft, ambient noise and driving, cataclysmic guitars, drums and keys, the songs range from simple affairs of three or four minutes to quarter-of-an-hour epics.
Recognized for their emotionally-charged recordings and live appearances, Versa performs and records mostly-instrumental post rock that incorporates elements of progressive, indie pop, folk, and ambient music. Versa released their second album, The Decline & Fall of... in July, 2010 (following their eponymous debut in October, 2007). The album has received positive reviews, with critics calling it “an album of hope and nostalgia”, “a hell of an album,” and “intelligent, emotional... deserv[ing] some love”. Versa was recently short-listed for Monday Magazine's 2010 M Award for Victoria's Favourite Band. After a brief hiatus following the release of The Decline & Fall of..., Versa has re-emerged in the new year, writing new material, performing shows, and recording a new EP released at the end of 2011. The Atomic Bomb Audition formed in 2004. Compositions began to unfurl heavily influenced by film music, doom metal, and psychedelic textures. Our debut "Eleven Theatres" (2006) was released in conjunction with Hector Stentor Records and received positive reviews for its complex, yet emotional pieces that naturally traversed genre. In 2007, we began writing more elaborate yet thematically cohesive songs. "Light Will Remain" (2008) saw the emergence of these now signature 20' song suites, peaks and valleys of hooky melodies and dramatic build-ups that recall the side-long journeys of vintage Pink Floyd, only with more metallic heft.
