“Sobre el olvido” (About the oblivion) is the ninth album and the OST for a theatre play called “Allí”, by Producciones Bernardas, to be premiered in Madrid the 4th of July, 2013. “Sobre el Olvido”, like “Toy Trains”, uses trains as a metaphoric framework from which the album concept develops but, unlike it, the theme is not the childhood and innocence from a melancholic point of view, but a more mature vision on solitude, oblivion and abandon on modern society. “Sobre el olvido” tries to raise an open question on how we see the world today, and how the world as influenced the way we see it.

Misha Mishenko is a young and talented Russian composer who creates music at the junction of neoclassical, instrumental and ambient genres. His first release saw the light in 2006. Since that he has been composing his strong, lyric and emotional music under various pseudonyms. The main theme of his works arises from the influence of his northern counterparts. Misha Mishenko incarnates his dreams of the far North with its boundless valleys, pure cold streams and dormant volcanoes in his compositions titled in Icelandic (Frá þyrna til stjarnanna, timbur inni í þér etc.) In 2013 Misha Mishenko gets to the new level in his craft by creating two professional releases (EP “sátt á sviðum” and album “strákur sem spilar með vindi”) which appeared on Russian Flowers Blossom In The Space music label. The records carry on his passion for Iceland and present us a composer worth to be heard worldwide. May 4 and 5 this year Misha Mishenko is playing two concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow with his northern friend and counterpart Olafur Arnalds.

Influenced by progressive rock, kashiwa daisuke started composing music as a student. 2004, the artist started his solo activities as kashiwa daisuke and toured Germany in 2005. At 2006 saw the release of his first album, “april.#02” by Germany’s onpa label, followed by his remix album, “april.#07” in 2007 with guest remixers such as olive oil, and Takeshi Nishimoto (I’m not a Gun). In August of that year, kashiwa released his second album “program music I” from noble labels. September 2008, kashiwa performed at the outdoor festival, Sense of Wonder. The sounds of kashiwa daisuke were introduced in RADIO SAKAMOTO, a radio program by Ryuichi Sakamoto as well as in the sunaokuwahara “2006 Autumn/ Winter Collection”, and his music continues to gather news in a range of other areas including TV programs and commercials. In addition to his own musical activities, the artist provides music to a variety of media and also works as an author, remixer, and mastering engineer.

Taiwanese female fronted chamber ensemble Cicada is led by the composer/pianist Jesy Chiang with members including Anne (violin), Wan-Ing (cello), and Bambi (guitar). They released the acclaimed EP "Over the Sea/Under the Water" following the debut performance as the opening act for Ólafur Arnalds' concert in Taipei in 2010,.

While citing Rachel's and Hauschka as influences, Cicada interwove the subtle sensitivity and delicacy to the composition. Its mixture of contemporary classical music and vague oriental feel is fresh sonic experience to listeners. As a sequel of the EP, the release Pieces adds tracks with warmth and clarity to tell a story about one's introspection and the growth of the mindset

Cicada is also known for its connection with artists in various areas. Each release features stunning cover art by rising female artists in Taiwan. The upcoming performance in Oct. 2011 will be a blend of music, dance and theater. This highly anticipated performance will be an striking collaboration of Taiwanese young/cutting edge artists.

Cicada成軍於2009年底，以鋼琴、木吉他、小提琴、大提琴四種樂器交織而成。之所以會選擇Cicada（蟬）作為團名，是因為人們察覺到蟬的出現，往往是因為聽到了牠們的聲音，而不是看見其形體。

樂團的核心人物是江致潔，自幼學習鋼琴，對藝術創作有很高的熱忱。2011年，Cicada 的第一場公開演出，是為冰島鋼琴作曲家 Ólafur Arnalds 台北演唱會開場。2012年推出首張正式專輯《散落的時光》，創作概念延伸自2011年的EP《Over the Sea / Under the Water》中的最後三首告別系列，敘述的是一段回顧過往時光的自省過程，同時，Cicada也正籌劃一場結合舞蹈、劇場的演出，將於2011/10/21（五）在The Wall舉行。
